Been here at least 5-6 times out of convenience because of how close it is to my house. Orders are always messed up every time. And at the bar always go at least 20-30 minutes waiting for the next round especially during football. Great beer list for what's on tap but often runs out too.
We went here last night for my husband's birthday. Let me start off with the fact that the beer selection is great, the service was great and the food tasted good. We were both in such intestinal discomfort after eating there and we shared everything so we can't pinpoint what did it. I thought I was dying last night, and this morning is not much better. We will never go there again.
Service was awesome!! Food was hot and came out quickly. Food was okay. Not great, but not horrible. Beer selection was great! Lots of sports on, which made the hubs happy. I would come back again, but it wouldn't be my first choice.
Well first the good...really nice remodel. Nice big screens. Good beer list. Lousy wine list. And the food was awful. Everything. Don't do brisket at all if you are not going to get a decent cut and braise it until tender. It was visually very fatty and tough. Burger mediocre at best. Chicken was dry. BBQ sauce not good. Tots greasy...change the fryer oil and turn the heat up. Menu sounds good on paper, execution lacking. Service was not good, kitchen slow as molasses and it was not busy. Was not busy on a Saturday college football night because you won't eat here twice. Fix the food or you'll be closed in six months. Get a real chef. Yes it was this bad.
Gave this place a shot on at least 4 times and they did not deliver on each visit. From the food to the drinks, was not a good experience..the Roxbury drink on the menu is not good. Burgers were over cooked then under cooked. The service was extremely slow while the place was not crowded. Also, you are paying New York City prices with the drinks. Being a local, was hoping that this place would be better than a 1 star. They typically do book some good bands during the winters months, so I may wind up coming back here, but I will stick to Diet Soda and some chips.
